SteelAtlas — Privacy Policy

SteelAtlas is an offline engineering-materials reference app. It is designed so that your data stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing is sent to us or to any third party. SteelAtlas has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and makes no network requests for its core features.

What is stored on your device

The following is saved locally on your device (in the app's private storage) and never leaves it:

• Your theme and language preference.
• Your favourite materials and bookmarked library articles.
• Recently viewed materials and your last-opened article (so you can resume).
• Saved comparisons and one-per-day usage counters.
• If you create an account: your name, email address and a locally-hashed password. This account is stored only on your device — there is no server.
• Feedback and content suggestions you submit in the app are queued locally.

Your choices

• Clear data: Settings → Data lets you clear recent materials and favourites at any time.
• Delete your account: Account → Delete account permanently removes your local account and the lists tied to it.
• Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

Children

SteelAtlas is a professional reference tool and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here and the "Last updated" date above will change.
